What is Health Factor?
It's the score your lending protocol gives your loan. Above 1.0 you're safe; at 1.0 liquidation triggers and a keeper bot can seize your collateral. It falls as your collateral loses value — we alert you as it nears 1.0.
When does a DeFi loan get liquidated?
The moment your Health Factor reaches 1.0. In our study of 7,600 real retail liquidations, 98% had at least an hour of warning first — plenty of time to react, if someone is watching.
